The Problem with Fad Diets
Fad Diets, like the Keto Diet, have been around for decades and every year they get pushed as THE solution to weight loss. If that is the case, then why are Americans betting bigger instead of smaller? The simple answer is going all-in with a diet instead of making steady changes is generally untenable. Weight does not come on overnight and will not come off overnight.
I am going to say this over and over again, deprivation and quick fixes only lead to quick changes. Being a fitness guy, I am going to make a fitness analogy: you don’t sprint to win a marathon. The same is true with weight loss. If you have read any of my material on my website then you know what I advocate for with behavior change. Start with one thing to change and find an alternative that you like and continue this process until it feels like you are eating healthier.
Make your weight loss journey about your health not your scale. When you can make this change, then you are a true fitness practitioner.
